Waiting...
It is with faith in God and His wisdom that I am at home today waiting for news of how Cooper is to come home to us. He has had eight months of struggle and the events of the last few days have led us to decide to love him enough to trust him to God. This past few weeks his body has began to breakdown under the insurmountable complications of DiGeorge's Syndrome. Dr Markert, to whom we will always be grateful, has informed us that Cooper is the most complicated case she has dealt with to date. She has recommended that we not choose to prolong his suffering by completing the transplant in which we had placed so much hope. We do not know if Cooper will live hours or days, I will do my best to keep you informed. Please lift Brooks, Emily and Little Coop up to our Lord. "GrandmaRie"

Darling Cooper,
I love you so much and am blessed to of known and cared for you and your family. Cooper you have cooperized me big time! I love you and was so grateful that your mommy called me on Thursday and I was able to come and spend time with you before having to leave TN. I cherish the time that I have had with you, talking and kissing on you! I know that you knew me and my funny voice! I thank you parents for choosing to share you with so many people to love and pray for you. You have touched so many lives and you will always be in my heart as well as many other hearts. Your Mommy and I spent time talking on Thursday and I know that you were listening too! As much as we don't want you to go we know that you have fought the good fight to stay but God has other plans, you have been a great warrior that your parents can be proud of. Brooks and Emily, I love you and send you loads of hugs, you have a great little man and he is loved by many. I will never forget Cooper, he has touched me in a huge way and I love you all.
Cooper will have his new body, Emily!
Sending you all my love
Christine
